सुख-दुःख, प्रेम और संघर्ष सब, जैसे चल रहे हों फिल्म के बल।

डॉक्टर कहते — “उम्मीद रखिए”, पर मैं भीतर जान चुका,
हर सांस अब उधार की है, समय ने मुझको पहचान चुका।

फिर भी भीतर एक ज्योति है, जो बुझने को तैयार नहीं,
जीवन से अब भी प्रेम है मुझे, हार मानने का विचार नहीं।

शायद कल सूरज फिर उगे, ये तारें फिर हट जाएँ,
और मेरे अपनों के आँसू, मुस्कानों में बदल जाएँ।
